UCF Volleyball Travels to Miami to Wrap Up Spring Action

The UCF volleyball team hits the road this weekend as it travels south to Miami for its final spring action of 2013. The Knights will scrimmage all day Saturday against the Hurricanes, USF and Florida Gulf Coast. UCF Volleyball Excited to Host Ron Jon Collegiate Sand Volleyball Championship

On Saturday, the women's collegiate sand volleyball season kicked off with the Ron Jon Collegiate Sand Volleyball Championship. Six colleges brought five pairs apiece to picturesque Cocoa Beach, Fla. to compete in a round robin, then bracket tournament sponsored by UCF volleyball. Last week, USA Volleyball had a record 247 athletes invited to participate in their open tryouts for the U.S. Women's National Team, U.S. Women's National A2 Program and U.S. Women's Junior National Team.
