Tyler Adams enters his second year as a volunteer assistant coach for the UCF volleyball team in 2009 after serving in the same position for the 2007 season.
Prior to assuming his role on the Knights' staff, Adams coached and played for the FC Schüttorf, Schüttorf Germany professional volleyball team, helping guide his Second Division squad to a league championship in 2008.
Adams also spent five years playing for the UCF men's club volleyball team. He was honored by the NIRSA as a second team All-American in 2008. From 2006-08 Adams served as a player coach for the club team, before taking over the team as a head coach in 2009.
Adams graduated from UCF with a degree in psychology in May 2008.
