A special group of Knights will be recognized for their time spent representing the Black and Gold when the team holds Senior Day at the UCF Invitational this weekend. Before the Class of 2013's final home meet, the quartet took a little time to reminisce on their careers and shared their dreams for the future.

What has been your favorite moment at UCF?
Amanda Leland: Meeting life-long friends.
Lutisha Bowen: Every day I wake up, I'm proud to be a Knight and blessed to be a part of a legacy.
Erica Weiss: Breaking the indoor school record my junior year for the pole vault.
Sonnisha Williams: My favorite moment at UCF was winning the conference team title my freshman year. It was unexpected because we were the underdogs and we had to fight for it.

What life lesson have you learned here?
Amanda Leland: I learned about adversity, knowing that things won't always go your way. So I learned to adjust to certain situations and how to react things.
Lutisha Bowen: I've learned to be persistent in pursuit of your dreams because hardwork and prayer does pay off.
Erica Weiss: Who you are is what you're doing when nobody is looking.
Sonnisha Williams: Always follow the dream and plan you have in place for yourself.

What advice would you give to the younger athletes or future Knights?
Amanda Leland: Always tell the truth and be an honest person.
Lutisha Bowen: My advice is to live each day with a goal, believe in yourself and allow the people that are here to help us to contribute to the development of your future.
Erica Weiss: Take advantage of all the opportunity in front of you, go to class, work hard, and have fun.
Sonnisha Williams: Take full advantage of both your athletic and academic time in college and enjoy the full experience.

What do you hope to do following graduation?
Amanda Leland: I would like to teach at an elementary school and also start coaching track.
Lutisha Bowen: I plan on pursuing track and field at the next level, traveling the world and starting on the development of my own fashion design line.
Erica Weiss: I want to travel for sure, but also be working for a big company's website.
Sonnisha Williams: Upon graduation I plan on attending grad school here at the University of Central Florida. After grad school I wish to go on to be a wonderful teacher and great coach.
