ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 9 UCF track and field team is heading west to the 38th annual Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., this weekend.

One of the top indoor meets in the country, the Husker Invitational will feature 25 Division I programs during the two-day meet, including No. 7 Florida, No. 18 Baylor, No. 24 Auburn and reigning Big Ten indoor conference champion Nebraska.

The Knights have continued to improve with each meet, and the nation has taken notice. The team owns nine individual marks in the nation's top 20 as it has crept up the national team standings to No. 9. UCF is also ranked second in the South Region, ahead of No. 11 Georgia, No. 19 Florida State, No. 24 Auburn, Miami, USF and fellow Conference USA member Memphis.

Friday's events will begin at 7 p.m. with the long jump and the 60 hurdles. The meet resumes Saturday with the mile at 1 p.m. ET.
