UCF Black and Gold Challenge

The annual Black and Gold Challenge kicked off UCF's 2012 outdoor season on March 17.

2012 (Junior): Recorded a converted personal-best time of 11:04.66 in the 3000 meters at the Gator Invite (1/22)...Posted a personal record in the 5000 meters at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational with a converted time of 19:36.94...Opened the outdoor season with personal bests in both the 1500 meters (5:06.15) and the 5000 meters (19:27.08) at the Black and Gold Challenge...Finished third in the 3000 meters at the Tom Jones Invitational (4/21) with a time of 11:02.14.

Prior to UCF: Scored points in the 3200m with a personal record time of 12:34.92 at the 2011 3A regional championships...Produced a season-best time of 5:49.57 in the 1600m at the 2011 3A District championships...Finished runner-up in the 3200m at the 2009 3A district championships...Ran a personal best 5:42.87 in the 1600m at the 2008 3A regional championships.
