ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF's women's tennis team completed the second day of the UCF Invitational Sunday. The Knights primarily went up against a tough Florida State team in singles, which entered at No. 38 in the nation, while they rumbled with Iowa in doubles play.

After collecting a doubles win during day one Saturday, the UCF duo of Courtney Griffith and Caroline Eberhart pulled out another victory Sunday when they topped Iowa's Shelby Talcott and Katie Zordani, 8-6. And competing with FSU's Amy Sargeant, Cassie Hochwalt earned a doubles triumph in an 8-2 decision over Furman's Kelly Sullivan and Jenny Porter.

The Black and Gold then had five singles matches vs. the Seminoles, which featured a lineup consisting of four nationally-ranked players, but was unable to pick up a win.

The UCF Invitational will conclude Monday with doubles to start the day at 9 a.m.
