Prior to UCF: Graduated from McKinnon Secondary College in Victoria, Australia...Also participated in cross country, basketball, cricket, soccer and track and field...Represented her school at the Victorian State Championships in cross country and track and field...In 2007, honored by the Victorian Olympic Council for the International Pierre de Coubertin Award for her achievements in academics and sports and was chosen for the leadership role of School Sports Captain at McKinnon...Participated in the 2009 KIA Amateur Australian Open and claimed the doubles title while finishing as the runner-up in the singles event...In 2008, was selected to play in the highest level of competition in Australia with the Victorian State Grade Team named Beaumaris and earned the best results on her team...During the 2007 season, competed against teams from all the Australian States and Territories for the Victorian Secondary School's team...The squad also played in Perth, Western Australia, where she went undefeated and earned a spot on the Australian Merit Team for the second-consecutive year.
