UCF Ties Colorado College on Grider's First-Career Goal
Freshman Emily Grider scored her first-career goal Sunday to enable the No. 25 UCF women's soccer team to pick up a 1-1 draw against Colorado College in Orlando. The Knights moved their overall record to 7-2-3 while it went to 2-1-1 in Conference USA.

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - After a two-week homestand, the No. 16 UCF women's soccer team heads west this weekend to Colorado College at 6 p.m. Friday before traveling to UTEP at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The Knights (10-3-1, 4-2-0) hope to get back on track after witnessing their four-match win streak snap against SMU.

UCF senior captain Nicolette Radovcic heads into the weekend with 27-career goals and needs two more to break into the top-10 leaders in program history. She also has nine game-winning goals, which currently ranks seventh, and needs just one more to tie for fifth.

UCF is looking for its first win in Colorado Springs since 2008. UCF and Colorado College (8-3-4, 3-2-1) both boast strong defensive units as the pair rank first and second, respectively, in C-USA for goals allowed and goals-against averages.

UTEP (9-6-0, 2-4-0) wraps up its four-match homestand on Sunday against the Knights, and University Field has been kind to the Miners this season. After toppling No. 22 Memphis last weekend, the Miners remained a perfect 6-0 at home.

UTEP's Tori Martyn is the reigning C-USA Offensive Player of the Week and is one of six Miners with multiple goals scored this season. Tess Hall paces the offense with seven goals and eight assists.

Fans can keep tabs on the matches through gametracker and all-access video, with subscription, via UCFAthletics.com.

UCF's soccer scarf is now available for a discounted price of $15 and includes entry to the remaining home games. The Gold Pass, which includes season tickets to all volleyball, men's and women's soccer, women's basketball, softball and track and field contests, is also available now.
