The UCF women's soccer team is pleased to announce the 2013 recruiting class - a dynamic group of nine student-athletes from all over the world. The group will join the reigning Conference USA Tournament champions as the program transitions to its first season in the BIG EAST.
Head Coach Amanda Cromwell: "We look forward to our talented 2013 class joining the program. Josh did a tremendous job traveling not only the country, but also the world, to sign this excellent class. Replacing our dynamic and experienced seniors was a difficult task, but this incoming class is a unique group with many different qualities that we believe will help us on our path to the College Cup. The recruiting effort from women's soccer and our support staff is paying off, and we couldn't be any more excited about reaching our goals as a program. A special thanks goes out to academic services for student-athletes, Kimya Massey and Sarah Hill, along with compliance, Brendan Armitage and Josh Collier, for all the work they put into making these student-athletes dreams come true."
Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator Joshua S. Walters, Sr.: "I love recruiting to UCF because this is a soccer player's dream: A successful, winning program, a quality education, perfect weather, tremendous facilities, storied history, exceptional support and a veteran U.S. National Team player as a head coach. I can't wait to watch these young women thrive as Knights. Now it is up to them to do the things necessary over the next six months to grow and be ready for the challenge our nationally competitive program brings."

Coach Dominic Oliveri (Ottawa Fury Head Coach W-League & Assistant Coach Professional Development Academy): "Kayla is a player who will be a tremendous asset to UCF's program as she brings hard work, dedication, and a passion for the game. Our club is extremely excited for Kayla as she will be attending a well-respected university."
UCF Head Coach Amanda Cromwell: "Kayla is a versatile player who will be a threat in a variety of ways. She is a hard-working Canadian who is ultra-competitive. Kayla can play everything from a central midfielder to a wide back. She has shown a knack for scoring goals with her Ottawa Fury club and was in the U17 National Team pool."

Coach Jim Cote (TBU): "Caroline is the ultimate competitor. She is intense, yet under control -- her ability to take over a game when the team is down a goal is special to watch. "
UCF Head Coach Amanda Cromwell: "The quintessential box-to-box midfielder is how I would best describe Caroline. What really impresses us about Caroline is her willingness to do all the things that do not show up on a stat sheet to help her team win. She is good in the air, gets stuck in on tackles and can be the playmaker."

She loves to run at players, be creative on the dribble and is not happy unless she is scoring goals. She has grown into a good composed finisher over the years and really can play anywhere across a front line. Madison has been the kind of player looking for `another session to stay sharp' every week since she was 12, and it's paid off for her by attending a great women's soccer program like UCF."
UCF Head Coach Amanda Cromwell: "Madison is a change-of-pace attacker who loves to score goals. She is a proven winner that played for CASL youth teams that competed for regional and national honors every year. Madison has graduated high school early and is currently enrolled at UCF. Her competitive spirit is showing in training as she looks to improve and compete in every session."
