ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Bethune-Cookman will make the short trip from Daytona Beach to Orlando this weekend when the UCF women's basketball team welcomes the Wildcats for a Sunday afternoon showdown at 2 p.m.

A number of promotions will be in store for spectators Sunday. UCF fans can take part in a pre-game chalk talk with assistant coach Courtney Locke at 1:15 p.m. in the Black and Gold Club. Blue Man Group tickets will be raffled off during the game. Following the game, the team will sign autographs, and fans are also invited to participate in a "Kids with Parents" shootaround on the court.

UCF (2-6) looks to get back on track after swallowing a close loss to Charlotte on Wednesday night. Bethune-Cookman (2-4) comes to Orlando riding a three-game losing streak and has not won a game on the road this season.

The Knights hold the advantage in the all-time series, 12-4, and have won four-straight over the Wildcats. UCF has not lost to B-CU since a 63-61 overtime decision on Dec. 12, 2000.

UCF senior guard Gevenia Carter is currently riding a five-game stretch of scoring in double figures, and has scored at least 10 points in all but one of the games so far this season. Freshman guard Briahanna Jackson's 18 points Wednesday marked her sixth game of leading the Knights in scoring. The pair rank among Conference USA's top-15 scorers.

Chastity Rene Taylor leads the Wildcats in scoring with 16 points per game while Amanda Hairston, who ranks 10th in the country for field goal percentage (.659), averages a team-best 8.3 rebounds per game.

Season tickets, which start at only $30, are currently available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com.
