ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team heads back out on the road this week for two games and makes its first stop in Tulsa for Thursday's 8 p.m. ET matchup.
The Knights (6-11, 0-3 Conference USA) hold the advantage in the series, 5-2, and have won four-straight over the Golden Hurricane. The last time UCF made the trip to Tulsa in 2010, then-junior Chelsie Wiley sank an off-balance, one-handed 17-footer through the net with 0.4 seconds left to win the game, 50-49.
Freshman Briahanna Jackson is coming off her fourth 20-point game of the season and her 10th game of leading the Knights in scoring this year. She owns the most 20-point outings of any freshman in the league. She is also the only rookie to have netted 30 or more points in a single game this season.
Tulsa (6-11, 1-3) has dropped three of its last four games and has not won at home since Dec. 19. All-conference preseason pick Taleya Mayberry is the leading active 1,000-point scorer in the league and paces the team with an average of 19.1 points per game.
