ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team (6-10, 0-2 Conference USA) is back in action at UCF Arena this Sunday at 2 p.m. when Southern Miss (9-7, 1-2) comes to town. Special promotions are in store for Orlando-area children in celebration of Knights for Youth day.

Prior to the game, kids are welcome to enjoy free fun outside of UCF Arena with inflatable bounce houses, a free video game truck, animal balloons and face painting from noon-1:45 p.m.

Following the game, children are welcome to participate in an on-court shootaround as well as meet the team in an autograph session. Youth ages 17 and younger will enjoy discounted entry to the game at $2.

The Knights are in the hunt for their first win of the conference season. They have won four-straight versus the Golden Eagles at UCF Arena dating to 2008-09.

Southern Miss has dropped its last two games and is 2-5 on the road this year. Three Golden Eagles average double-digit figures in scoring and are led by Jamierra Faulkner. The junior ranks fourth in the league for scoring with an average of 16.8 points per game and is first for steals (4.1) and assists (6.3).

Tickets are currently available by calling (407) UCF-1000 or by visiting UCFAthletics.com.
