ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) -- Fresh off its win in the Conference USA opener, the UCF women's basketball team (6-7, 1-0 C-USA) looks for its first road win of the season on Sunday at 3 p.m. eastern when it meets Tulane (11-3, 0-1 C-USA) for the first the first time since the 2011 C-USA Championship game.

The Knights won both games over Tulane last season, including the 85-73 victory that delivered UCF's second C-USA title on March 12, 2011. UCF is 1-3 in New Orleans in the overall series, and Tulane holds a 7-0 record at home this year.

Senior Aisha Patrick is coming off her best game of her career with a 28-point performance against East Carolina on Thursday. The guard needs 12 points to reach the 1,000-point milestone. If history serves as any indication, UCF can expect more of the same on Sunday as some of Patrick's best performances have come against the Green Wave.

Last season, Patrick grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds in UCF's regular season meeting, and in the C-USA championship game, Patrick tied her career-high seven steals. Both stats served as a team-best for the year.

Sunday's game marks the homecoming of two Knights to the Pelican State. Director of Program Development Khalilah Mitchell hails from New Orleans and played for LSU for five seasons before she earned her degree in May 2007. Assistant Coach Bob Starkey spent 20 years in Baton Rouge, La., with LSU basketball and served as associate head coach under Van Chancellor from 2007 until his arrival at UCF this year.

Tulane swept the conference weekly awards on Tuesday as Olivia Grayson was named the Player of the Week for the second time this season and Danielle Blagg was tabbed the Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this year. Grayson paces the team with 14.4 points per game while Brett Benzio averages a team-best 9.7 rebounds per game.

The Green Wave started the season hot when they upended No. 20 LSU. Their five-game win streak was just snapped at Memphis on Thursday in a 61-59 loss. Tulane ranks third in the league for blocked shots (4.6) and second for assists (14.7). Lisa Stockton is in her 17th season as head coach.

The IMG Sports Network will broadcast all of UCF's games live on UCFAthletics.com with a subscription plan. Scott Adams will provide the play-by-play. Live stats are also available via UCFAthletics.com.
