UCF set a new school attendance record as 2,178 fans witnessed the Knights defeat the Golden Eagles on Jan. 15.

As a Junior in 2011-12):Started 24 of 28 games and served as team's second-leading scorer with 11.4 points per game...Dished team-high 77 assists through the season...Ranked among the Conference USA's top 10 scoring leaders in conference play with 13 points per game...One of three Knights in double figures with 14 points in triple-overtime season opener at South Alabama (11/12)...Sank a career-best 8-of-10 from the field for game-high 21 points in home-opening win against Florida A&M (11/18)...One of three Knights in double figures with 12 points against Fordham (11/25)...Scored a game-high 16 points and tallied four assists and four steals against Hartford (11/26)...Produced eight points, seven rebounds and a game-high five assists against FIU (12/2) ...Dished a game-high five assists against Savannah State (12/11)...Scored 11 points and played 36 minutes in UCF's first win over an ACC opponent in 25 years in a 41-32 win over Virginia Tech (12/18)...Led UCF with 16 points at Tulane (1/15)...Scored game-high 23 points against Southern Miss in front of a school-record crowd...Two games later, re-set career-high with 28 points - 20 in the second half alone to nearly outscore the Herd's 21 second-half points -- to lead UCF to its first road win of the season at Marshall (1/22)...Named Conference USA Player of the Week following those performances...Led UCF with 14 points against Tulsa (2/2)...Paced UCF with a game-high 23 points against Memphis (2/19).

Prior to UCF: Played basketball for Westfield High School in Houston...Ranked 61st nationally in the Class of 2009 in ESPNU's HoopGurlz Top 100, and was listed as the 12th-ranked shooting guard in the country...Also the sixth-highest ranked player from the state of Texas, which had three of the nation's top five recruits...As a senior, averaged 17.7 points, 7.1 steals, 5.9 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game...Played in the Greater Houston Area Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game after the season and claimed MVP honors after scoring 13 points...Also played in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Star Game...In her junior season, Carter averaged 18.5 points, 6.5 assists and 4.2 steals per contest...Stellar background in AAU basketball while playing for the Houston Insiders...Made the all-tournament team in 2007 and 2008 while helping the Insiders to second and third-place finishes at Basketball at the Bayou...Drew interest from numerous top-notch programs, including Texas A&M, Kansas, Kansas State, Houston and Rice.
