Kim Boes Position: Director of Basketball Operations Experience: Fourth Season at UCF

Kim Boes will begin her fifth season on Joi Williams' staff at UCF in 2011-12 after being hired as the director of operations in May 2007.

Boes oversees the budget, team travel, student managers and equipment while also working to set up community service and community relations events. Boes serves as the Co-Director of Joi Williams Basketball Camps.

Boes came to UCF after nine years working with the University of Florida Athletics Association. After beginning her career in the accounting department, she joined the women's basketball staff and spent the last three seasons as an assistant to the head coach. In that role, she coordinated team travel, oversaw student managers and equipment as well as all of the team's community relations and extracurricular activities. She also served as the director of the women's basketball camps since 2004 and as the team's administrative liaison during the postseason.

During her four seasons with the Knights, Boes has been a part of two C-USA Championships in 2009 and again this past March of 2011.

Boes holds an associate's degree in travel and hospitality management from Brown-Mackie College in Kansas. A native of Norwalk, Iowa, she played basketball, golf and softball at Norwalk High School.
