ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - During the 2012 season, Deshorn Brown utilized his time at UCF to further develop and display his talents. The striker was one of the premier offensive players in the country as he totaled 13 goals and three assists for 29 points.
Now after one successful campaign with the Knights, Brown is heading to the professional ranks. Having signed a Generation adidas contract last week, the Jamaica native is expected to be one of the top picks Thursday during the MLS SuperDraft.
Brown will be accompanied by UCF head coach Bryan Cunningham in Indianapolis for the draft, which can be watched live Thursday, starting at 12 p.m. Eastern, on MLSSoccer.com, ESPN3 and YouTube.
