ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - This Wednesday prior to the Conference USA opener against East Carolina, UCF supporters can hear from head football coach George O'Leary when "Lunch with George" returns at noon in the recruiting lounge behind the south endzone at Bright House Networks Stadium.
As always, the first 100 fans can enjoy a free Chick-fil-A sandwich as well as a complimentary Coke product.
While attending "Lunch with George," fans can hear O'Leary discuss a wide array of topics while answering all questions that those in the audience may have. The open forum is a great chance to hear about the Knights' C-USA opener with ECU. The Pirates have already notched a 2-0 record in league play, making the stakes even higher for Thursday night's primetime affair at 8 p.m.
O'Leary will also partake in his weekly radio show Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings beginning at 7 p.m. Airing on 740AM The Game, the "Voice of the Knights," Marc Daniels, and O'Leary will recap UCF's game against Missouri and break down the keys to a victory over ECU.
To call in and ask questions, fans can dial (407) 916-8255 or toll free at (800) 729-8255. Buffalo Wild Wings just west of campus of University Blvd. provides various wings and drink specials to supporters that come to the radio show as well as special prizes to the audience members.
UCFAA, in cooperation with game sponsor Florida Hospital, selected the first game of October to increase awareness and support for breast cancer research. Also involved is Komen Central Florida. This year's Race for the Cure will take place Oct. 21 on the UCF campus, and signing up will give runners the chance to purchase tickets for the Oct. 4 game against ECU for just $20. Two dollars of each ticket purchased is donated to a local breast cancer research organization or charity.
