-Played two years of basketball at Florida as a guard, and appeared in 68 games with one start, averaging 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game as a Gator

HIGH SCHOOL:
-Played one season at safety and wide receiver in 2005 for Miami's Monsignor Pace High School
-Named the 2008 Florida Dairy Farmers "Mr. Basketball" Player of the Year
-Also named the 2008 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year
-Helped team to 2007 and 2008 4A state championships
-Named MVP of both state title games and was a three-time all-state selection
