-Selected as the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Memphis game

-Played under coach Jemalle Cornelius at Fort Meade, spending time as a fullback, running back and on special teams besides serving as a linebacker
-Participated in the FACA North-South All-Star Game in Sebring, Fla., as a senior
-Rated three stars by Rivals.com and ESPN
-Was a first-team all-state selection who led the county with over 150 tackles in 2011, and also had 14 forced fumbles with five rushing touchdowns
-Earned PolkPreps' Super 16 status, and was the defensive player of the year in the county
-Named the Lakeland Ledger Small School Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 thanks to 128 tackles
-Was the team's rookie of the year as a freshman and the defensive MVP as a sophomore
-Also played right field for the baseball team and as a forward for the basketball program
-Member of the D.A.R.E. Club, National Honor Society, About Face Mentor Program, Principal Leadership Cabinet, Advisor Committee and Fellowship of Christian Athletes
-Received interest from Ball State, Indiana, Iowa State, South Florida and Western Kentucky
