-Also named to the Pensacola News Journal All-Area Football Team
-As a junior (2010), had 85 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 12 sacks
-Played mostly at strongside defensive end
-In 2010, helped lead team to its second-straight district title as well as the Class 2B state semifinals, narrowly falling to eventual state champion Trinity Catholic
-As a first-year starter as a sophomore, team advanced to the state semifinals
-Also lettered three years in basketball and two years in baseball
-Received offers from Memphis, Florida Atlantic and Western Michigan, and interest from Kentucky, Mississippi, South Florida, Texas Tech and Middle Tennessee State
