HIGH SCHOOL
-Enrolled at UCF in spring 2013
-Coached by Ron Gartrell at Stephenson
-Led his team to the Georgia Class AAAAA state quarterfinals in 2012 and the state playoffs round of 32 in 2011
-Stephenson went 9-3 his senior year
-Hails from the same area as current Knights Micah Anderson and Tarik Cook, while Cook also attended Stephenson
-Rated three stars from Rivals and ESPN
-Listed as the No. 37 dual-threat quarterback in the nation by ESPN
-Threw for 1,200 passing yards and nine touchdowns as a senior, along with rushing for seven touchdowns
-During his junior year, racked up 750 passing yards and eight touchdowns to go along with five rushing scores
-Won the MVP award at the 2011 Rivals/VTO Sports Georgia Elite 100 Camp
-Also ran track while in high school
-Member of the Health Occupational Students of America, the Beta Club and the honor roll, and was a certified nursing assistant
-Chose UCF among his final four schools which consisted of Marshall, NC State and Wake Forest, and also had interest or offers from Arizona State, Missouri, Southern Miss, USF, FIU and Vanderbilt
