-Earned All-C-USA Honorable Mention status
-Named to Phil Steele's All-C-USA Second Team
-Started seven games at right guard (RG) with seven starts at left guard (LG)

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011):
-Appeared in 11 games with one start at right guard (at UAB 10/20)

FRESHMAN SEASON (2010):
-Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team
-Appeared in six games as a reserve offense lineman

HIGH SCHOOL:
-Played for coach Patrick Burrows at Southridge High School
-Team went undefeated in the 2009 regular season, winning the district championship, before losing in the state playoffs
-Named All-Dade County as a senior by the Miami Herald after making 67 pancake blocks and not allowing a sack
-Started 10 games as both a sophomore and a junior
-Also qualified for the 6A state wrestling tournament as a sophomore
-Member of the National Honor Society
