-Earned four letters for head coach Rick Rodriguez at Largo High School
-Set the Pinellas County single-season rushing record as a senior with 2,567 yards and 31 touchdowns
-Earned first-team Class 5A All-State honors as a senior (Florida Sports Writers Association) and was the St. Pete Times Pinellas County Player of the Year, helping lead Largo to a 13-1 record
-Was a member of the Tampa Tribune's All-Suncoast First Team
-Played in the Florida North and South All-Star Game
-Rushed for more than 1,700 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior when he was also named the St. Pete Times Pinellas County Player of the Year
