-Worked with the scout team
HIGH SCHOOL
-Regarded as a the top quarterback in the state of New York as a senior, when he led the Skaneateles Lakers to a perfect 9-0 record and a spot in the Section 3, Class C Championship game
-In his biggest game of the season, passed for seven touchdowns against Jordan Elbridge, tying a state record held by four others
-Completed 68 percent of his passes, throwing for 2,385 yards with 34 passing touchdowns on the year
-His 34 touchdown passes in a season was fourth all-time in state history
-Also ran for 374 yards and 11 more scores on the ground
-Named first-team all-state in Class C by the New York State Sportswriters Association, as well as All-Central New York
-Also a member of Syracuse Post-Standard's All-Central New York Team and Auburn Citizen's Football Player of the Year
-Earned one letter in wrestling
-Was a four-year member of the Honor Roll (2009-12)
-Chose the Knights over interest from Syracuse, Connecticut, SMU and Albany
