2001: Named the team's co-Special Teams Player of the Year ... saw action in all 11 games, finishing the year with 38 tackles, 27 of them unassisted, while splitting time equally at strong safety. ... forced one fumble, broke up three pass plays and also had an interception ... two tackles behind the line of scrimmage for five yards lost ... best game came against Tulane when he registered 12 total tackles, including eight solo stops.
2000: Bigby redshirted while practicing with the defensive secondary.
High School: Bigby graduated from Miami Senior High School in 2000 ... played for coach Nigel Dunn ... finished the 1999 season with 72 tackles, four forced fumbles, and one interception on defense to go along with 500 yards receiving, 315 yards rushing and nine touchdowns on offense ... earned second-team Class 6A all-state honors in addition to being named all-Dade County ... played in the Dade-Broward All-Star Game. ... also played soccer and ran track ... comes from the same Miami Senior High School program that produced former UCF players Vic Penn and Patrick Jenrette.
