Williams will manage UCF's video coordination efforts.
Adam Williams joined the UCF men's basketball staff as the program's assistant director of operations in September 2012. Williams manages UCF's video coordination, assist with team travel and help direct the program's summer camps.
Williams is familiar with UCF head coach Donnie Jones as he played at Marshall under Jones and also served as the a graduate assistant at the school in 2009-10. He spent the last two years as an assistant coach at West Virginia Tech.
In his first year at UCF, Williams helped the Knights record their third-straight 20-win campaign as the team went 20-11. UCF knocked off a pair of top-50 RPI squads during the season in Belmont and Southern Miss.
Williams played at Marshall from 2007-09 and appeared in 51 contests, making 11 starts. He began his collegiate career at Kentucky and played in eight games for the Wildcats in 2005-06.
He had an impressive high school career at St. Albans High School. As a senior in 2003-04, he was named the Gatorade West Virginia High School Player of the Year after averaging 22.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.
