Sykes Declares for NBA Draft, Maintaining NCAA Eligibility

Junior is following guidelines to retain eligibility.

2012-13
• Declared for the NBA Draft, but withdrew name for consideration in April
• Named to the All-Conference USA First Team and the C-USA All-Defensive Team
• Selected to the NABC All-District 11 First Team
• Started all 31 games and averaged 16.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals in 35.4 minutes an outing
• Led the nation with two triple-doubles and became the second player in league history to record multiple triple-doubles in a season
• In league play, became the first player in C-USA history to rank in the league top 10 in points (16.8/8th), rebounds (8.6/5th), assists (4.3/7th) and steals (2.3/1st)
• Scored in double figures 27 times and had 12 20-point performances
• Recorded seven double-doubles
• Totaled 72 steals, good for seventh on the UCF single-season register

• Recorded nine points and six rebounds against St. Bonaventure in the CBI first round victory
• In the victory at UTEP, scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting

• Grabbed eight rebounds and added six points and two assists in the UCF Holiday Classic presented by EA Sports championship win over Princeton
• Opened the tournament with 12 points and five boards against Furman
