2009 (Freshman): Finished freshman year with 22 hits and a .234 average in 33 games played...Had six doubles, a homer, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored, and was 4-for-4 in stolen bases...Made first collegiate start vs. VCU (Feb. 20), playing center field and scoring a run...Collected a hit, RBI and run scored against VCU (Feb. 21)...Scored twice and had a pair of hits vs. VCU (Feb. 22)...Had a hit, run and stolen base vs. VCU (Feb. 23)...Doubled and scored at LSU (Feb. 27)...Notched a RBI double and came around to score vs. USF (March 11)...Delivered a pinch-hit home run, his first collegiate dinger, against Hartford (March 15)...Posted two hits and a run vs. Army (March 17)...Drove in three runs and gave UCF its single-game record of runs (29) and hits (28) when he drove in two on a ninth-inning double at UAB (April 24)...Finished the game with Stetson (May 6) by going 3-for-5 with two runs, a RBI and a stolen base...Doubled in a two-hit game with one run scored at Stetson (May 12).

Prior to UCF: A center fielder for Winter Springs High School and head coach Jeff Perez, lettering three seasons...Served as WSHS's top hitter as a senior, going .387 with three homers, a .500 on-base percentage and a .613 slugging percentage to earn a spot on the all-conference and all-county first teams...Also swiped 16 bases and walked 17 times, striking out just nine times...Wrapped up junior season with a .333 average, 24 runs scored, a home run and 15 RBI to pick up first-team all-conference honors...Went 20-for-23 in stolen-base attempts...Walked 26 times while posting just 12 strikeouts...Notched an OPS of .941...Batted .390 and belted out four triples as a sophomore to be selected as the team's rookie of the year and a member of the all-conference second team...Competed for Chet Lemon's Juice which won the summer and winter nationals in 2007...Also helped club win the Perfect Game World Wood Bat national title in 2007.
