2008: Competed in six of the team's meets as a freshman...Crossed the line in a season-best third place at the Black & Gold Invitatinoal...Claimed 28th place at the FSU Invitational with a time of 19:08.38...Had her second top-10 finish of the season at the FLRunners.com Invitational, crossing in a season-best 18:59.86 to claim eighth place and help the Knights to the title...Finished 47th at the C-USA Championships and 139th at the NCAA South Regional.

Prior to UCF: Attended Wharton High School in Tampa, Fla...Was the 2007 Hillsborough County cross country champion by nearly a minute over her next competitor...Also won the district championship and was the regional runner-up...Named to the Tampa Tribune Girls' Cross Country First Team in 2007...Named the St. Petersburg Times 2007 Cross Country Runner of the Year...Notched the state's top time (2:16.18) in the 800-meter run in 2008.
