General Department Policies & Procedures
Interviews
Members of the media who wish to arrange interviews with UCF student-athletes, coaches or administrators must first contact the athletics communications office. Student-athlete and coach interviews should be scheduled with that sport's respective media relations contact; administrator interview requests should go through Joe Hornstein. All requests for interviews with UCF coaches, administrators and student-athletes should be made at least 24 hours in advance. No player interviews will be granted the day of an event or during practice without prior arrangement through our office. UCF student-athletes are instructed NOT to participate in telephone interviews, unless they are arranged by the Athletics Communications Office. Players' home telephone numbers will not be released at any time.
Credentials
For most sports, please contact that sport's respective media relations representative via fax or letter on official letterhead, or by e-mail, at least 72 hours prior to the contest. To obtain UCF Football credentials for the 2007 season, follow the link below.
Telecommunications (telephone, Ethernet, wireless)
Members of the media wishing to place a telephone in the Bright House Networks Stadium press box should contact UCF Athletics Communications for further procedures. The stadium is a wireless zone courtesy of Bright House Networks. Ethernet connectivity by UCF Telecommunications is also available throughout the press work space. Please contact Ryan Powell in the Media Relations Office for further UCF Telecommunications needs.
