Jessica West Position: Athletics Communications Student Assistant

Jessica West serves as an Athletics Communications Student Assistant and joined the team in August 2011. She works primarily with football and soccer, providing weekly press releases and blog updates for the 2012 seasons.

A West Virginia native, West began attending UCF in August 2008. She is currently pursuing a bachelors of science in event management with minors in both sports business management and hospitality management. She plans to graduate in Fall of 2012 and then earn dual masters degree in sports business management and business administration from UCF next fall.

West was also president of Delta Epsilon Iota, a career-based academic honor society sponsored by the Career Services department, for the last two years. In addition to being a student assistant and chapter president, she referees high school basketball for the FHSAA.
