Paul Miranda was a star cornerback for the UCF Knights from 1996-98, Miranda would then be drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the 4th round (96th overall) of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played thee seasons in the NFL, the last two years with the Seattle Seahawks.

After his release from Seattle in the 2002 offseason, Miranda did stings in the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders camps through 2003. His final pro snaps came in the Arena Football League and the Orlando Predators in 2003-04.
