Ginny Hitt Position: Assistant Cheerleading Coach Sport: Spirit Program

Ginny Welch Hitt serves as an assistant on the coaching staff at UCF and has over 15 years of coaching experience.

An alumnae of UCF, Hitt received her bachelor's degree in physical education in 1998 and a master's degree in education in 2002. From 1998-2003, Ginny served as the head coach at Oviedo High School, where she led the team to numerous State Championships and four top ten national finishes. OHS took third place at the 2003 National High School Cheerleading Championships.

In addition to her coaching duties at UCF, Hitt works as a sales representative for Varsity Brands, Inc. in the Central Florida area. She is married to Harold Hitt (UCF '91). The Hitts and their son, Dalton, reside in Winter Springs, Fla.
