Campus Traffic Flow

In order to achieve optimal traffic flow on campus during home football games, the following changes to normal road conditions will be in effect on game day. Emergency service vehicles, operational support vehicles, and specifically designated shuttles will be authorized to use these roadways at all times:

1. Gemini Boulevard North Gemini Boulevard North will be closed to all traffic between Garage H and Orion Boulevard from 3 hours prior to the published game start time until game start. From game start until midway through the 4th quarter, this road will be open to all traffic. This road will again be closed to traffic from midway through the 4th quarter until 2 hours following the end of the game (or as required).

2. Gemini Boulevard East (from Libra Drive to Orion Boulevard) will only be accessible to vehicles displaying valid Gold Zone credentials from 3 hours prior to the published game start time until game start. In general, valid credentials will only include GKC Gold Zone parking passes, Garage E and Garage G parking passes, handicapped parking permits and operational support vehicle passes. Permits must be properly displayed at all times from the rearview mirror. From game start until midway through the 4th quarter, this road will be open to all traffic; however this road will again be closed to non-credentialed traffic from midway through the 4th quarter until 2 hours following the end of the game (or as required).

3. Orion Boulevard (from McCulloch Road to Gemini Boulevard North) will only be accessible to vehicles displaying valid Gold Zone credentials from 3 hours prior to the published game start time until game start. In general, valid credentials will only include GKC Gold Zone parking passes, Garage E and Garage G parking passes, handicapped parking permits and operational support vehicle passes. Permits must be properly displayed at all times from the rearview mirror. From game start until midway through the 4th quarter, this road will be open to all traffic. This road will again be closed to non-credentialed traffic from midway through the 4th quarter until 2 hours following the end of the game (or as required).

4. Campus entrances at Libra Drive, Central Florida Boulevard, University Boulevard, Gemini Boulevard North and Centaurus Drive will remain open for all traffic throughout game day.

NOTE: Parking on campus is only authorized in designated parking lots and garages. No street or open area parking is authorized anywhere on campus. Violators will be subject to fines and towing.
