Memory Mall

Memory Mall remains the focal point of tailgating for students and other fans at UCF football games. The Student Government Association's activities will remain centrally located on the south end of the mall.

UCF will set up pre-designated "tent zones" on Memory Mall to facilitate the safety and comfort of our fans. Fans will be allowed to set up tents within designated spaces, and may place small tables, grills, lawn chairs or other equipment on adjacent grassy areas, except within five feet of any sidewalk. These procedures will allow fans to enjoy tailgating with adequate space around their tents, keeping the sidewalks clear for pedestrian and official vehicle traffic and ensuring quick access for emergency vehicles, if necessary.

To keep the campus clean, a roving trash and recycling pick up called "Knights Pick Up" will travel around Memory Mall every few hours throughout game days. Most Knights fans have done a great job keeping their areas clean by disposing of trash and recyclables. We encourage all fans to embrace the "Knights Pick Up" service and help recycling crews by regularly cleaning up their tailgating areas.

The graphic below presents a representative view of how Memory Mall will be set up for tailgating. Tent zones will be painted on the mall, and UCF representatives will be available on game days to assist fans.

Memory Mall Changes

In addition to using Memory Mall, fans also may choose to set up on the various grassy areas adjacent to the mall or on other open areas of the UCF campus, including Lake Claire and around the Reflecting Pond. Wherever fans choose to set up, they are expected to help preserve UCF's beautiful campus by cleaning up their trash and carefully protecting campus buildings and permanent landscaping.
