The Knights' first road trip outside the state of Florida felt more like a homecoming than a normal road game for junior Tristan Spurlock. The 6-foot-8 forward is a native of Virginia and had over 30 friends and family members in attendance at UCF's game against Old Dominion.
Friday night's game was the first time many of Spurlock's family members got to see him play in college. Since Old Dominion played at UCF last season, Spurlock knew the Knights would travel to Norfolk, Virginia this season. Tristan said he's looked forward to that game since before last season began.
Spurlock and his family is from Woodbridge, Virginia where he attended Word of Life Christian for High School. Above is a video of Tristan with his family at the team hotel in Norfolk.
