UCF's win over Memphis
pushed the Knights win streak over the Tigers to 8. It marks the longest
consecutive win run by UCF over an opponent. The Knights can duplicate the feat
of 8 in a row in a series against Marshall this week.
Latavius Murray's 83
yard run for a score was the second longest run from scrimmage. Kevin Smith
posted an 87 yard score against Marshall in 2007.
Punter Jamie Boyle
averaged 48.0 yards per punt including one downed at the Memphis one yard line.
Boyle also ran for 33 yards after Memphis attempted a block late in the game
and Boyle was able to get away and scamper down the field.
AJ Bouye's 79 yard
fumble return for a touchdown and interception came in front of family and
friends who made the trip to the Liberty Bowl.
Marshall fans are
calling it the biggest game in their CUSA history when UCF visits Huntington
this Saturday. The Herd is 3-4, 2-1 after a thumping of Southern Miss, 59-34.

University is named after John Marshall, fourth Chief Justice of the United
States Supreme Court.

Huntington, West Virginia on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
