You couldn't ask for better weather to kick off the fall
baseball season Monday afternoon on the campus of UCF. The Knights, who will be looking to make their third-consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2013, began their first team practice just before 2 p.m. with a lot of familiar faces as well as plenty of newcomers.

As they do each and every fall, the Knights will culminate
their month-long team workouts with the Black & Gold World Series. The three-day event will take place Oct. 24-26.
