A huge crowd was on hand Wednesday evening as the UCF
Victory Club held a social inside the New Traditions National Bank in downtown
Orlando. The crowd, which included Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers,
gathered to support the UCF men's basketball program and learn about the future
of the Knights from head coach Donnie Jones.
Created in 2010, the UCF Victory Club provides fan and
financial support to the men's basketball program. The club hosts exclusive functions
throughout the year and provides numerous opportunities for members to network.
Nearly 100 individuals, including some former UCF
student-athletes, packed the bank for the event Wednesday.
"It was a great event and we are grateful for all of the
support," Jones said. "The victory club is a great program and it is important
in getting the word out about all of the wonderful things that are going on at
UCF, not only athletically, but academically and in the community as well. Victory club members play a vital role in our
program and their contributions are appreciated."
