Congrats are in order for U.S. Olympian DeeDee Trotter!
In case you missed it, Trotter earned her first individual Olympic bronze medal in the 400-meter finals on Sunday with a season-best time of 49.72, narrowly missing silver by two-hundredths of a second. What's special about the performance is that it also marks the first athlete that UCF track and field coach Caryl Smith Gilbert has coached to an individual Olympic medal. Smith Gilbert has trained Trotter for the past nine months at the UCF Track and Field Complex.

Congrats to DeeDee! The UCF track and field team couldn't be more proud of you.
