UCF goalkeeper Lianne Maldonado was one of 12 Conference USA student-athletes and the Knights' representative at this year's annual meetings of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. The meetings were held this past weekend in Irving, Texas, and promoted the learning of effective leadership skills, sharing best practices and identifying goals for the academic year. 

Maldonado also participated in a community outreach event with a visit to Children's Medical Center in Dallas. The SAAC group interacted with patients by reading, playing games and signing autographs.
