Life Series
The life series is designed to address the unique transition from a student-athlete to life after collegiate athletics. It includes a combination of lectures, group discussions, guest speakers and activities. Students will learn about real world decisions, career opportunities and trends, and most importantly, themselves.

Guest Speakers Each year student-athletes hear from a guest speaker in both the fall and spring semesters. The speakers discuss and/or address the different challenges that student-athletes face on a daily basis. |

New Knights Program The New Knights Program is an orientation program designed to assist new student-athletes, both freshman and transfers, in their transition to UCF. |

General Workshops Outside of the major workshops and guest speaker, each team is required to participate in two workshops per year that are specifically catered to their teams. These workshops are used to address the specific needs of each individual team. |

Senior Meetings Each senior student-athlete must meet with the PRIDE staff to outline their post graduate plans. These meetings serve as a planning session and an opportunity for the student-athletes to begin to think about life after UCF. |

Student-Athlete Organizations |
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is an elite group of student-athletes that work as a connection between teams, administration (UCF, C-USA, and NCAA) and the UCF community. The committee is comprised of student-athletes from each sport who serve as the unified voice for all UCF student-athletes. SAAC is responsible for education its members on legislative issues, creating and fostering a network of athlete-to-athlete support, staying actively involved in community outreach, and providing leadership, networking and learning opportunities for its members. |

AD's Captains Council The AD's Captains Council is a leadership program designed to develop exceptional leaders in academics, athletics, and life. The program provides comprehensive leadership training to student-athletes form each team, equipping them to be 50% student, 50% athlete, 100% leader. |

CARE Team The CARE Team is a select group of student-athletes that serve as an educational support group and are informed about important and relevant topics that can help to enhance and positively affect their lives and the lives of their teammates. The group serves as a resource to fellow student-athletes and is designed to promote Courage to stand, Awareness of resources, Responsibility to act, and Excellence on and off the field. |
