Study Skills Workshops

Student-athletes are introduced to various study tactics that when used properly have proven to be effective for retention during studying.

Time Management Workshops

Managing the use of time is key to living a successful, balanced, and happy life! This presentation addresses specific time management strategies including planning, setting priorities, and making a schedule to fit all the academic, athletic, and leisure activities of a student-athlete.

Tutoring and Structured Study Sessions

Upon request of individual student-athletes or as a requirement by an academic advisor, tutors and study sessions are provided for student-athlete's course(s) through Academic Services for Student-Athletes and the Student Academic Resource Center.

Academic Counseling and Advising

Ensuring that our student-athletes graduate is our top priority at UCF. Academic Services for Student-Athletes provides advisors and mentors to help guide our student-athletes through all aspects of collegiate academics, from the time they enter UCF to the time they receive their diploma.

Scholarship Applications

Various scholarship opportunities are posted on the PRIDE bulletin board or emailed to keep student-athletes aware of the money that is available to them. Assistance is provided during the application process, including but not limited to, soliciting letters of recommendation, writing an effective essay, and overall completion of the application.

Awards, Honors, and Recognition

Knights of the Round Table was created to recognize the student-athletes who earned a 4.0 GPA for the semester. We also recognize student-athletes who receive the C-USA Commissioners Academic Medal for maintaining at least a 3.75 cumulative GPA, or who make the C-USA Commissioners Honor Roll for maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.

During the spring semester we have our annual All Sports Awards Banquet, where we highlight the student-athletes who excel in their sport, in the classroom, and who work hard in the community.
